Vishal Dadlani, a singer-composer, has volunteered to assist the CISF officers who are accused of slapping actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut on June 6 at the Chandigarh airport. Officials told PTI that the employee had been suspended and that a formal complaint had been made against her.

As Kangana's assistant reported to PTI after the event, "From what it appears, she was slapped for the Khalistani comments she made during the farmers' agitation but we do not know the whole incident yet."
Two days after Kangana was elected as a Member of Parliament from the Himachal Pradesh seat of Mandi, she was on her way to Delhi.
