ED files a lawsuit in Delhi court against Arvind Kejriwal and requests an extension of his detention.


In the money laundering case pertaining to the now-canceled Delhi liquor excise policy, the Enforcement Directorate filed a motion on Monday in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court asking for an extension of chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody.

The agency informed the court that Kejriwal is on provisional bail at the moment and has been ordered to turn himself up on June 2. The application is kept pending by the court and is scheduled to be heard on June 2.

In the concurrent case filed by the CBI, the court also decides to prolong BRS Leader K. Kavitha's judicial custody till June 3.
